The Challenge
In rural Punjab, more than 40% of children in grades 3 to 5 cannot read at grade level. Rote learning continues to dominate classrooms, leaving youth vulnerable to migration pressures.
Our Approach
Learn Labs are digitally equipped after-school hubs that make learning engaging and relevant. Through play-based and challenge-driven learning, children build reading fluency and problem-solving skills.
Key Features
Local community members are trained as Changemakers to lead these labs, creating trusted learning environments where children feel empowered to explore and grow. This grassroots approach builds sustainable leadership while inspiring the next generation.
Fully aligned with the National Education Policy 2020's vision of experiential, learner-centered education.

Across rural Punjab, community-led Sports Centers harness the power of football and volleyball to build confidence, inclusion, and resilience. Through 1 Girl 1 Football, girls discover their potential to play and lead.
The Challenge
Children in rural Punjab, especially girls, often grow up without access to sports facilities or coaching. Without structured opportunities to play, they miss out on the joy, focus, and discipline that sports can bring.
Our Approach
Roundglass Punjab trains local leaders to manage Sports Centers, ensuring every child can participate and reach their potential. Through training and mentorship, young people develop into well-rounded, confident individuals.

Empowering Punjab’s Rural Youth
The annual Roundglass Foundation Village Sports Festival has emerged as the largest rural sports initiative in India. Building on the groundwork of 2024, last year’s festival transformed from a local tournament into a massive movement for grassroots development, gender inclusion, and community pride.

In collaboration with Punjab Football Club (PFC), our scouts identified top-tier talent during the festival. These standout players have been fast-tracked into professional training camps.
Community Ownership
The festival is powered by the people. From sarpanches to ex-army officers, local leadership took the reins, managing logistics, providing meals, and mentoring youth in discipline and teamwork.
